Letter of the Week

Our letter of the week is Dd.  We are learning to read the letter, write the letter and say the sound it makes.  We became letter detectives this morning and went on a letter hunt around the classroom.   Check out all the things we found that start with Dd ...

I wonder if you can find something around your home that starts with the letter Dd?  You might like to bring it along and put it on our letter table!

    Tonight Lucy and I were looking around the house for something beginning with 'D'. We came across a photo of our delightful dog named Daisy. Daisy says "woof" to all the kids in E6! Keep up the good work kids!

    Hello Lucy's Dad! Thank you for leaving us a comment about our letter Dd. Lucy showed us the photo of Delightful Daisy for news today. Paige thinks Daisy is cute. Riya thinks she is beautiful. Hunter thinks Daisy is pretty. Mrs Graham has put our blog on our classroom projector and we are writing this comment to you together.     This evening Riya started to think of anything & everything that started with 'D/d'. We put our detective hats on and found (or thought of) of the following words - diamond, door, drawers, drink-bottle, dust, Duck, diary, Dolphin

    Riya then started going through her Barbie book and found few more - dragon, digger. We also found one book in her Reading Folder named 'Dressing up'.

    Great going E6, few more words starting with letter 'Dd' in your 'D'ictionary :-)
