This week Mrs Henderson presented the 'term one' certificates for excellence at the junior school assembly.

We are so proud to have Angelina in our class.
Angelina is a very caring and kind friend.
She is always willing to help us out.
Angelina always tries very hard at writing time.
She stretches words out of her mouth like chewing gum! She concentrates on sounding out the letters and tries to write them down. Even if she is worried she is wrong she still has a go!
Angelina knows that good learners get
better and better by trying hard.
Angelina is so proud of her learning activities. She can finish her work, and always checks she is following the instructions.
Angelina is a super star listener at news time.
She sits so tidy and still, and always looks at the person talking. We know she is listening because she sometimes asks us really interesting questions!
Your are a super star Angelina.
We think you deserve Mrs Henderson's special award this term because no matter what we are doing in the classroom, you are trying hard to give your best...always!
Lots of us in E6 are learning to give our very best so we can be super star learners. I wonder what you think you have given your best at this term in E6?

ReplyDeleteWe heard that today is Grandparents Day in E6 and we are Lucy Harrison's Grandma and Grandpa DeWald in Redmond, Washington in the USA. We wish we could be there today and visit the classroom. We were very happy in January when we could go to school with Lucy on her first day of school and see how happy she was to be with her class. Congratulations Angelina. Riya was telling us about your award yesterday, she was very happy that you got the Principals Excellence Award. I think she made you a card - congratulating you on your award.

Riya's Grandma was very happy to see the school and spending time with all of you in E6. She loved the way you have decorated the classroom with your great artwork. She liked the concept of having the Grand parents day in the school.
