Learning our Sight Words
We have been busy in E6 learning to read, write, and spell our sight words. We use mini whiteboards and magnetic letters to practice forming the letters in words.
Sometimes we rainbow write words in 5 colours.
We are getting really good at instantly recognizing so many words and this is helping us to become super star readers and writers!
This week we made sight words with playdough.
We had to read the word, say the word, make the word and write the word.
We love this activity - it makes learning fun. We are very proud of how many words we can read and write. Sometimes we still get muddled but we have such a positive attitude to learning that we are making great progress! Well done E6!

It was really funny reading your comment and we laughed really loud at the bit that says 'don't eat the words'! This afternoon we are making numbers with the playdough. From the fabulous children in E6 :-)
