Principals Award Term 3

At the end of each term Mrs Henderson, our school principal gives a very special certificate to one person from each class at Eastern Hutt School.  The certificate is for somebody who shows excellence in all that they do at school.  That means that we give our very best....always!

Last week Mrs Henderson presented the 'Term Three' certificates for excellence at the junior school assembly.

Congratulations to Lucy from our class!

We are so proud to have Lucy in our class.
Lucy is very caring and polite.
She is always willing to help us out.  She reads stories with us and helps us work out the tricky words.
Lucy always tries very hard at writing time.
She can write really interesting stories with fabulous describing words!   She concentrates on making sure her story has a beginning, a middle and an end.   She is a super duper speller and loves the challenge of learning to spell extra tricky words!
Lucy knows that super star learners always have a go! Every morning at fitness she runs around the courtyard 3 times!  Even if she has tired legs she keeps going and never gives up. We love having Lucy in our class because she is a clever thinker.  She always shares her ideas and knowledge with us all.  Sometimes she wonders things that make us start wondering things, and then we all learn new things together!

You are a super star Lucy ...

We think you deserve Mrs Henderson's special award this term because no matter what we are doing in the classroom, you are showing excellence, and trying hard to give your best...always!

Lots of us in E6 are learning to give our very best so we can be super star learners.  I wonder what you think you have given your best at this term in E6?
